First porn scene, what really happens on your first shoot day

Your first porn scene is not a test of courage and nobody expects you to know the routine, because on a professional set every step is planned, explained and agreed with you before the camera is switched on.

Adults only (18+). Applying is free. You never pay us.

Everything is agreed before you arrive

By the time you are booked for a first porn scene you have already applied, passed the identity and age check and met us at a casting. At the casting we talk through the type of scene, the people involved, your limits and the rate for that scene, and you decide if you want to go ahead. Nothing is added later without your new consent. If you have not applied yet, you can apply in one minute and read how the whole process works first.

  • The scene type is named in writing (solo, girl-girl or boy-girl).
  • Your limits sheet lists what you are open to and what is a hard no.
  • The rate for the scene is agreed before you say yes to it.
  • You get the date, time and place in a message once the booking is confirmed.

What to bring with you

Bring the same valid photo ID you used for verification, because the producer checks it again on the day and keeps the record the law requires. For scenes with a partner, bring the recent test result requested at the casting. Bring clean underwear, a robe or comfortable clothes for breaks, any personal care products you prefer and something to eat between takes. Make-up and styling are discussed in advance, so you know whether to arrive with a fresh face or ready.

  • Valid government photo ID.
  • Recent test result for partner scenes.
  • Comfortable clothes for breaks and travel home.
  • Anything that helps you feel at ease, like your own playlist.

Arrival, paperwork and a calm start

The day starts slowly. You meet the person running the shoot, see the room and the set, and sit down with the paperwork before anyone talks about filming. You read and sign the model release and the consent form for this specific scene, and your limits sheet is checked once more. If something in the papers is not what you agreed at the casting, you say so and nothing moves until it is fixed. You can read what each document means on our porn contract page.

  • ID check and age record for the producer.
  • Model release and consent form for this scene only.
  • Limits sheet read back to you and confirmed.
  • Time for questions with no rush.

On set with a small professional crew

A first porn scene is shot with a small crew: usually a person directing, someone on camera and someone looking after light and sound. Before each part of the scene the director explains what comes next, where to stand and what the camera needs. Many beginners start with a solo scene or a glamour set, which lets you get used to lights and lenses without a partner. If you would like that path, see our solo porn casting and nude model casting pages.

  • Breaks whenever you need them, not only when the crew needs them.
  • A robe and water within reach at all times.
  • Clear words before every new position or angle.
  • No extra people in the room beyond the agreed crew.

Your right to stop at any moment

Consent is given for each scene and it can be taken back at any moment. If you want to pause, change something or stop completely, you say it and filming stops. There is no penalty for stopping, no pressure to continue and no change in how we treat you. This is the core of how we work, described in full on our safety and consent page.

Wrap, payment and what happens next

When the scene is finished you get time to shower, change and rest. Payment for the scene follows the shoot at the rate agreed at the casting, by the method and timing confirmed with you in writing. We explain the details on our page about how porn performers get paid. If you liked the experience, we can talk about the next scene. If you did not, you simply do not book another one.

  • Payment after the shoot at the rate agreed beforehand.
  • No hidden deductions and no fees charged to you.
  • Your stage name is used, not your legal name.
  • You decide if there is a second scene.

Feeling nervous is normal

Almost everyone feels nervous before a first porn scene. Sleep well the night before, eat something light, arrive a little early and tell the director if you feel tense. A good crew slows down for a beginner. You are allowed to ask the same question twice. You are allowed to ask for a break after a few minutes. Preparation is not about performing perfectly, it is about knowing your limits clearly and saying them out loud.
