Porn star requirements, what you need and what you do not
The real porn star requirements are shorter than most people expect: you must be an adult with a valid photo ID, pass our selfie check, test for scenes with a partner and be reliable, and you do not need experience, a portfolio or a particular look.

Requirements every performer meets
These requirements apply to everyone who works with us, women and men, solo performers and couples. They are not negotiable, because they protect you and everyone else on set.
- You are 18 or older.
- You hold a valid government photo ID.
- You pass the selfie check with that ID.
- You test for any scene with a partner.
- You turn up when you say you will.
- You respect consent and other people's limits.

Age 18 or older, proven by a document
You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. Being an adult is not enough on its own, you have to prove it with a document. Every applicant is checked, and if the age cannot be confirmed with certainty, the application is not accepted. Our 2257 age verification page explains the law behind this.

A valid photo ID and a selfie check
Accepted documents are valid government-issued photo IDs that show your face, legal name and date of birth, such as a passport, a national ID card or a driving licence. In your panel you upload a clear photo of the document and a selfie of you holding it next to your face. Expired, damaged or unclear documents are not accepted.

Testing for scenes with a partner
For girl-girl and boy-girl scenes you bring a recent test result within the window the production sets, confirmed at the casting and checked again on the day. Solo scenes and glamour sets do not involve a partner. Our blog explains STI testing for adult performers step by step.

Reliability
Reliability is the requirement people underestimate. A shoot involves a crew, a set and often a scene partner, all planned around you. Answering messages, arriving on time and saying early if something changes matter more than any physical trait.
What you do not need
Many people never apply because they think they lack something. Here is what we do not require.
- No experience. We teach you everything on set.
- No portfolio or professional photos.
- No followers or fan platform account.
- No particular body type, height or look.
- No fee of any kind, ever.
- No relocation. The casting location is confirmed in each invitation.
What helps you succeed
Beyond the formal requirements, a few qualities make the work easier and lead to more bookings. Knowing your limits clearly and saying them out loud is the most important one. Being comfortable taking direction helps. So does looking after yourself before a shoot, sleeping well and arriving calm. Male performers meet the same requirements: 18 or older, valid photo ID, selfie check, testing for partner scenes and reliability.
